Make the session your own
- People: Let me know whether you would like to include a partner, children, or another person important to you.
- Setting: Share whether you are drawn to an outdoor location, a quieter indoor setting, or something else we can discuss together.
- Feeling: Tell me if you prefer simple and relaxed photographs, more expressive portraits, or a mixture.
- Boundaries: Let me know what you do and do not want photographed. You never need to choose a revealing outfit or a pose that makes you uncomfortable.
Choose comfortable clothing
An outfit that lets you move freely is a good place to start. A dress with gentle movement, a simple knit, or clothing you already feel beautiful wearing can all be options.
Try your choices before session day, including undergarments and shoes. You do not need to purchase a gown or assume a client wardrobe is included; ask me about any outfit or styling arrangements before making plans.
Pack lightly
- Comfort: Bring water and your usual personal essentials.
- Footwear: Bring practical shoes for moving between portrait locations.
- A layer: Choose something appropriate for the conditions.
- A meaningful item: If you would like, bring something small connected to your story. Props are optional, not a requirement.
Let comfort lead
Tell me if you need to sit, pause, or change what we are doing. Follow your healthcare professional's guidance about activity and comfort, and contact me if your needs change before the session.
Next step: Share your preferred timing, outfit ideas, and any considerations you would like me to plan around.
