Your Mini Session Guide

A mini session is a smaller window of time with a simpler plan. A little preparation helps us spend that time together rather than sorting out last-minute decisions.

Check your booking details

  • Arrival: Confirm your appointment time, address, parking instructions, and any recommended arrival window.
  • Who is included: Check the participant limit and any arrangements for additional people or pets before session day.
  • What is included: Review your booking information for image selection, delivery, and any purchase options.
  • Session arrangements: Confirm whether outfit changes or special requests fit the offering. Do not assume a mini includes the same flexibility as a longer session.

Keep preparation simple

Choose one coordinated set of outfits unless your booking says otherwise. Dress children comfortably and, where practical, have everyone ready before you arrive.

Bring essentials, but avoid spending the appointment arranging a large collection of props. If there is one photograph you especially hope for, tell me before the session.

When you arrive

Follow the arrival instructions for your booking and contact me promptly if you are delayed. Because minis may be scheduled close together, do not assume a late arrival can be added to the end of your time.

Let children settle into the moment

Offer reassurance rather than repeated instructions to smile. A simple interaction together can give us somewhere comfortable to begin.

Next step: Review your confirmation and send any important requests before session day.
